Maintenance Electrician in Coventry, West Midlands

Recruit4staff are proud to be representing their client, a leading building services company in their search for a Maintenance Electrician to work across multiple sites in Coventry

For the successful Maintenance Electrician our client is offering:

• Up to £42,000 per annum (Depending on experience)
• Mon-Fri, 40 hours per week
• Permanent Role
• Company van and tools 
• 25 days holiday plus bank holidays
• Paid travel time 

The role – Maintenance Electrician:

• Performing electrical testing, inspection, and fault diagnosis on electrical systems and installations.
• Undertaking EICR's for a range of commercial installations
• Identifying issues and performing remedial works when needed
• Client facing to identify issues and/or discuss works needed
• Ensure all testing equipment is properly maintained and calibrated
• PPM and reactive maintenance
• Electrical maintenance on emergency lighting, fire alarms, control systems
• Mechanical maintenance on HVAC systems and plant rooms
• General maintenance such as basic joinery and plumbing work 
• Accurately recording PPM, reactive, and condition check data on the work app.

What our client is looking for in a Maintenance Electrician:

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in electrical engineering - ESSENTIAL
• City & Guilds 2391 or an equivalent qualification in Testing & Inspection - BENEFICIAL
• 18th Edition Electrical Qualification: Up-to-date certification required - ESSENTIAL
• Previous experience with electrical test & inspection - ESSENTIAL
• Previous experience in FM or building management services
• Full Drivers License - ESSENTIAL
• Previous experience with mechanical/ HVAC maintenance - PREFERRED
