Graduate Science Teaching Assistant – The Role

• Support Science teachers across KS3 and KS4, with a particular focus on your subject specialism
• Work one-to-one or in small groups to support students who need extra help in understanding scientific concepts
• Assist with lesson preparation, classroom management, and the delivery of practical experiments
• Provide targeted support to students with additional learning needs or those who are preparing for their GCSE exams
• Contribute to the positive and inclusive learning environment of the Science department
• Long-term, full-time Graduate Science Teaching Assistant role earning up to £520 per week

Graduate Science Teaching Assistant – Candidate Requirements

• A minimum of a 2:1 degree in a Science-related subject (Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or a similar discipline)
• A strong academic background and genuine passion for education and student development
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with students and staff
• A positive, patient, and proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and take initiative
• Previous experience working with young people is desirable but not essential
