Senior Cs&a Engineer in Cumbria, North West

Our Client has a requirement for a Senior CS&A Engineer, who will be required to work on a 12 month contract basis in Cumbria.

3-4 days per week on site, the rest can be worked from home.

Role Purpose:

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Site-Based Civil Engineer to work across various sites, requiring the successful candidate to operate in an agile working environment. You will be responsible for providing technical expertise on design queries, construction, and installation processes, while ensuring all projects are carried out to the highest standards.

Job Role Responsibilities:

• Provide Civil engineering expertise on-site, with an emphasis on setting out and accurate layout tasks.
• Liaise with Plant, Operations, and Construction teams to address design and construction/installation queries.
• Utilise survey equipment (e.g., Leica Total Stations) to carry out site measurements and layout activities.
• Work with AutoCAD software for design tasks, including some 3D modelling experience.
• Ensure the delivery of projects in line with company standards, regulations, and project timelines.
• Provide technical support and resolve any on-site challenges related to design and construction.

Experience / Skills / Knowledge / Qualifications:

• Civil Engineering Experience: Proven experience in a site-based civil engineering role, particularly with setting out experience.
• Survey Equipment Proficiency: Strong proficiency in using survey equipment, such as Leica Total Stations.
• Software Proficiency: Expertise in AutoCAD with some experience in 3D modelling.
• Nuclear Industry Experience: Previous experience working in the nuclear sector is strongly preferred.
• Security Clearance: Must be able to obtain SC (Security Check) clearance for unescorted access to restricted areas (e.g., Separation Area).
