Send Teaching Assistant in Pershore, West Midlands

This exciting opportunity involves working with children with a range of specific learning needs. If you have experience in a primary school setting and have worked with children with SEND, this role is perfect for you! This role would be to start ASAP and continue until the end of the academic year.

As an SEND Teaching Assistant you will be responsible for:

• Supporting children in Reception and Year 3 with additional needs
• Assisting the class teacher in planning and delivering the National Curriculum, particularly for SEND students
• Promoting a positive learning environment for all students
• Offering tailored support to ensure progress for children with SEND
• Working as part of a dedicated team to meet the individual needs of students

Required Skills and Experience:

• Experience working in a primary school, particularly with SEND children
• Strong knowledge of supporting children with ADHD and Global Delay
• Experience working as a TA in UK schools
• A minimum of Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in supporting teaching and learning
• An understanding of the National Curriculum and its application to SEND students
• Previous experience working alongside a class teacher in a classroom setting
