Science Teacher in Stourbridge, West Midlands

With modern Science labs, a collaborative department, and a focus on student progress, this school offers a fantastic environment for both experienced Secondary Teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs). The role will involve teaching all three Sciences across Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4) and is expected to continue until Easter 2026, with potential for extension.

Science Teacher – Role Responsibilities:

• Full class teaching responsibilities including planning, marking, and assessments
• Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics
• Follow the National Curriculum at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
• Manage classroom behaviour effectively and create a positive learning environment
• Work collaboratively with department staff to support student achievement
• Attend meetings and contribute to school-wide initiatives where required

Required Skills and Experience:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Early Career Teacher (ECT)
• Previous experience as a Secondary Teacher or Science Teacher
• Excellent subject knowledge across all Sciences
• Strong understanding of the National Curriculum at KS3 and KS4
• Effective classroom and behaviour management skills
• Experience working in a Secondary School setting
