Exciting opportunity alert! We are looking for a Practice Development Officer (Social Work) to join our dynamic Workforce Development Team in Liverpool, UK. This is a locum position offering £44.21 per hour for a minimum of 3 months. Working full time, this non-case holding role is perfect for experienced and registered children's social workers who have previously worked as a Practice Development Officer. This position involves designing, developing, and leading our Newly Qualified Social Worker Programme (ASYE) while supporting our learners.

What you will do:

  • Support and mentor learners within the Workforce Development Team.
  • Develop and deliver robust learning programmes to support the Continuous Professional Development of our social care workforce, such as ASYE, Apprenticeships, and Step-ups.
  • Design and deliver high-quality training sessions on children's legislation, case management, policies, frameworks, and procedures.
  • Supervise and mentor social care workforce members and support Practice Educators.
  • Promote good practice across the organisation, conducting audits and supporting our Quality Assurance Service.
