Project Engineer (m&e) in Sizewell, East Of England

VGC Group Lowestoft are delighted to be recruiting for a Project Engineer (Mechanical & Electrical) on behalf of our industry leading client in Leiston, Suffolk.

This role is offered initially as a 3 month contract with the view to be made a permanent employee.

The successful candidate will:
*Monitor the project delivery, identify risk and opportunities and work with key stakeholders to optimise project delivery.
*Assess the constructability of the proposed design and ensure the Design teams produce feasible designs inline with deadlines.
*Lead the delivery of construction works, ensure compliance with all company processes and protocols.
*Review and approve contractor documents when delegated.
*Proofread and approve drawings.
*Act as Test Team Leader where appropriate.

Requirements:
*HNC/HND in either Electrical or C&I discipline (advantageous)
*Knowledge of HSE and CDM Legislation
*Strong commercial awareness
*Strong communication and problem solving skills
*Clear understanding and experiencer of the requirements for handover and self certification of the works
