What you will do:

• Deliver a responsive, emergency social work service outside of office hours across Trafford, covering evenings and bank holidays.
• Handle situations involving vulnerable individuals, including families, people with disabilities, and those affected by acute mental health issues, taking action as an Approved Mental Health Practitioner.
• Work collaboratively with your team to ensure Trafford’s statutory functions are fulfilled during out-of-hours service in Adult Social Care and Children Social Care.
• Stay informed about relevant regulations, policy, and legislation concerning Adult Social Care, Children Social Care, and the Mental Health Act.
• Effectively manage crisis situations when necessary, maintaining a calm and professional approach.
