We are looking for an experienced Social Worker to join our Cotswolds Children & Families Team, where you will manage a diverse caseload including Children in Need (CIN), Child Protection (CP), and Children in Care (CIC), involving some court work. With a caseload of around 18, your focus will be on providing effective, evidence-based interventions with an emphasis on timeliness and impact. Our commitment to a flexible workforce enables you to enjoy a balance between office and home working, where feasible. You'll be expected in the office 3 days per week and will conduct face-to-face visits with children, except in COVID-confirmed circumstances. This is more than just a job; it’s a chance to make a real difference in the lives of children and families.

What you will do:

  • Hold and manage a varied caseload, delivering high-quality social work services.
  • Conduct assessments and develop care plans to meet the needs of children and families.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and external agencies to safeguard children.
  • Undertake court work when necessary, providing reports and attending hearings.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports in line with legislative and policy requirements.
