What you will do:
- Under the direction of the Registered Manager, lead the day-to-day operations of our Residential Children's Home and any associated services, ensuring positive outcomes for the children and young people we support.
- Develop creative care packages and responses for the young people accessing our services, whether in the home or on an outreach basis.
- Promote and maximise partnership working with various stakeholders, including foster carers, schools, health services, and the police, to improve outcomes for children and young people.
- Ensure that feedback from children, young people, and their families is actively sought and addressed.
- Supervise and guide the team, which may include professionals from other disciplines, to enhance service delivery.
- Conduct investigations into concerns, complaints, and safeguarding issues to ensure positive outcomes and the protection of vulnerable individuals.
- Contribute to the development of policy standards and procedures, enhancing the quality of service offered.
- Assist in managing complex cases and lead projects aimed at improving services and practices.
- Collaborate with other departments and partner organisations to share knowledge and ensure high-quality, integrated service delivery.
- Line manage and mentor junior staff, ensuring adherence to organisational procedures and good practice.
