Social Worker - Adults Team in Blackpool UK earning 30.66 pounds per hour on an hourly basis for a locum contract of 3 months. What you will do:

• Conduct assessments and reviews, ensuring adherence to departmental policies and statutory guidance such as the Care Act 2014.
• Engage in adult safeguarding procedures, taking on the role of Safeguarding Lead if positioned at H2.
• Collaborate with other teams, service providers, and external agencies to deliver focused outcomes for individuals and families.
• Uphold departmental and Health and Care Professionals Council’s codes of conduct and capability frameworks.
• Empower individuals by providing informed choices in line with the Care Act 2014.
• Stay informed on social care developments and the broader health and social care agenda.
• Actively participate in professional supervision and staff meetings.
• Maintain precise records and documentation using departmental IT systems.
• Reports To: Team Manager/Deputy Team Manager

Qualifications:

• Degree in Professional Social Work or equivalent social work qualification such as: Dipsw
• Registered with SWE
• Approved Mental Health Professional or willingness to undertake training and complete(*Essential if applying for a mental health post)
• Best Interest Assessor
• Practice educator
