What you will do:
- Lead and manage a team of social workers dedicated to safeguarding and promoting the best interests of children.
- Oversee the daily operations of the team, ensuring compliance with governmental policies, legislation, and departmental procedures.
- Provide inspirational leadership and support to frontline staff, facilitating the implementation of new policies or procedural changes.
- Advise senior managers on strategic planning and service delivery directions to ensure high-quality outcomes.
- Ensure team performance targets are met, regularly reporting to managers and staff.
- Effectively manage the team's budget and expenditure to optimise resource usage and ensure value for money.
You must have a minimum of 3 year post qualified experience and committed to bring positive change and stability to the lives of children and families in the Borough.
