What you will do:

• Manage an allocated caseload which involves routine social work interventions, escalating complex cases.
• Conduct assessments, develop care and support plans, and recommend external support when necessary.
• Work collaboratively with individuals needing care and support, their families, and carers to identify and assess risks.
• Ensure actions and decisions safeguard the welfare of children at immediate risk of harm.
• Provide support, advice, and decisions based on assessment needs ensuring plans are evidence-based.
• Participate in duty system rota, respond to urgent cases, and manage crisis situations effectively.
