What you will do:
- Manage a caseload as determined by your line manager, adhering to the specified guidelines
- Hold responsibility for young people aged 10-17, subject to youth justice interventions and sentences, ensuring supervision in line with National Standards and local procedures
- Collaborate with families and guardians of children and young people using systemic and evidence-based approaches to foster support and understanding
- Work jointly and liaise with partner agencies, aiming to achieve the core goals of the role and consult on youth justice related applications, such as knife crime prevention orders
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships within a multi-agency setting, ensuring compliance with information exchange protocols and data protection regulations
- Operate within the framework of the Crime and Disorder Act 1998 and other relevant criminal, youth justice, and childcare legislation
