Job Title: Band 6 Community Psychiatric Nurse

Location: CAMEO South Team – Adult Specialist Mental Health Department, Cambridge
Hourly Rate: £26.51
Contract Type: Ongoing (initial 3-month period, with potential for extension)
Working Hours: Full-Time (Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm), minimum 4 days / 30 hours per week required

Main Responsibilities

  • Manage a diverse caseload, providing care coordination and support to individuals experiencing psychosis.

  • Participate in the team Duty rota, delivering immediate support and response when required.

  • Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to deliver early intervention services aligned with team values and objectives.

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and formulate individualised care plans.

  • Build therapeutic relationships with service users, supporting recovery and promoting mental well-being.

  • Ensure adherence to safeguarding protocols and complete an enhanced DBS check where necessary.
