English Teacher / English ECT – The Role

• Deliver high-quality English lessons across KS3 and KS4, with opportunities to teach KS5 depending on experience
• Plan, prepare and assess engaging lessons that stretch and challenge students of all abilities
• Inspire a love of reading, writing, and critical thinking through imaginative teaching strategies
• Be an active part of the English department, contributing to curriculum development and student progress
• Work with pastoral and SEND teams to support learners' individual needs
• Long-term, full-time English Teacher / English ECT paid to MPS: £31,650 - £43,607

English Teacher / English ECT – Candidate Specification

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or currently completing a PGCE in English
• Passionate about English education and committed to delivering excellence in the classroom
• Strong subject knowledge in English Literature and Language
• Ability to reflect, grow, and work as part of a collaborative team
• ECTs are warmly welcomed – excellent induction and mentoring available
