What you will do:

  • Deliver effective rehabilitation care, collaborating with the multidisciplinary team within mental health inpatient wards.
  • Manage your own caseload of patients, ensuring high standards of clinical care and adherence to professional and legal responsibilities.
  • Perform comprehensive patient assessments as an autonomous practitioner using evidence-based practice and clinical reasoning.
  • Design and implement personalised intervention and management plans including discharge planning.
  • Provide holistic physiotherapy treatment while considering the patient's physical, psychological, and social needs.
  • Advise on and prescribe mobility aids, ensuring their safe usage.
  • Apply highly developed handling skills in dealing with complex patient conditions.
  • Participate in Quality Improvement projects and actively involve patients in setting goals and treatment plans.


To be considered for this role, you should be registered with the HCPC, have at least 2 years of experience in a similar setting, and ideally, possess a valid driving licence to navigate across sites.
