Key Responsibilities

Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care programmes to ensure the highest standards of patient care.

Deliver care in line with the Emergency Department’s philosophy and established clinical guidelines.

Supervise, mentor, and support newly appointed nursing staff through coaching and on-the-job guidance.

Act as a clinical supervisor to aid in the development of both qualified nurses and nursing auxiliaries.

Support the orientation and induction of new team members to ensure a seamless integration into the department.

Take responsibility for the comprehensive care of a designated patient group, ensuring clear and effective communication with the wider healthcare team.

Uphold the standards outlined by the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) and ensure strict compliance with all health and safety regulations.
