Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant – Dudley

A forward-thinking and inclusive primary school in Dudley is seeking a committed Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain long-term experience supporting students with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) and additional learning needs.

The Role:

• Position: Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant

• Start Date: Immediate or September 2025

• Contract Type: Full-time, long-term

• Salary: Up to £550 per week

• Location: Dudley, West Midlands

• Age Group: Children aged 3–11

What You'll Be Doing:

• Providing tailored 1:1 and small group support (up to 5 students)

• Assisting pupils with a range of needs including:

  • Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)

  • Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH)

  • Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD)

• Collaborating with teaching staff and external professionals (e.g. psychologists, SALT)

• Supporting emotional wellbeing and social development in a nurturing environment

• Building positive relationships that help pupils reach their full potential

Who We're Looking For:

• A graduate with a degree in Psychology, Education, or a related field

• Someone with a genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs

• Aspiring Educational Psychologists, SEN Teachers, or Speech and Language Therapists

• Individuals with patience, empathy, and a proactive attitude
