We are seeking an experienced Band 5 Paediatric Staff Nurse to join the team at Princess Elizabeth Hospital in Guernsey for a 10-week block booking. This full-time opportunity offers a fantastic chance to earn £33 per hour on an Umbrella or LTD basis, with the role falling outside IR35. What you will do

• Deliver high-quality, patient-centred care to children and their families.
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team to create and implement care plans.
• Monitor and assess the development of your patients, adjusting treatments as required.
• Provide support and education to patients, families, and carers.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure effective communication with all stakeholders.

Requirements

• NMC Registration: NMC Registration as a Children's Nurse or Sick Children's Nurse.
• Paediatric experience: Experience in paediatric nursing with the ability to work autonomously.
• PILS: PILS certification is essential, EPALS certification is desirable.
• Teamwork: Strong teamwork skills within a multidisciplinary team (MDT).

Travel and accommodation details

Travel costs from the UK to Guernsey will be reimbursed, making your transition smooth. Accommodation is self-covered and ranges from £110 to £160 per week, with options for shared or en-suite facilities.

You will be based on the Tautenay Ward at Princess Elizabeth Hospital, located in the serene village of St Martin, Guernsey. It is a great opportunity to explore this beautiful island and work in a fantastic short-term contract.
