What you will do

CT Imaging: Provide high-quality CT imaging services, ensuring accurate diagnostic images are produced.
Patient Care: Deliver compassionate, patient-centred care while supporting individuals throughout imaging procedures.
Equipment Operation: Operate CT scanners safely and effectively, ensuring optimal image quality and patient safety.
Quality Assurance: Perform routine equipment checks and ensure imaging equipment is maintained in accordance with departmental procedures.
Compliance: Adhere to radiation protection guidelines, health and safety regulations, and departmental policies.
Multidisciplinary Working: Collaborate with radiologists, clinicians, and healthcare professionals to support patient diagnosis and treatment.
Documentation: Maintain accurate imaging records and contribute to comprehensive patient documentation.
Professional Practice: Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with HCPC standards and best practice guidelines.

Qualifications / Requirements

Radiography Qualification: Degree or equivalent recognised qualification in Diagnostic Radiography.
Registration: Current HCPC registration as a Radiographer.
CT Experience: Minimum of two years' experience working within CT imaging.
NHS Experience: Previous NHS experience is highly desirable.
Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of CT imaging protocols, radiation safety, and diagnostic procedures.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities with a patient-focused approach.
Teamwork: Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
Driving Requirement: A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is desirable for travel between sites if required.
