What you will do
- Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments for children and adolescents presenting with psychological, psychiatric, emotional, behavioural, or risk-related concerns.
- Develop and implement evidence-based and psychosocial interventions tailored to individual needs.
- Provide specialist support and therapeutic interventions to children, young people, and their families.
- Support and mentor colleagues, contributing to supervision and professional development within the team.
- Participate actively in service development, quality improvement initiatives, and best-practice implementation.
- Contribute to the Emergency Duty Rota, including urgent and routine mental health assessments.
- Build strong therapeutic relationships with young people and their support networks.
- Deliver care that is person-centred, culturally sensitive, and responsive to individual circumstances.
- Work collaboratively with education, healthcare, social care, and voluntary sector partners to ensure holistic support.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive clinical records in line with professional and organisational standards.
