About the Role:
As a Chemistry Graduate Academic Tutor, you will play a pivotal role in driving attainment. You’ll deliver targeted interventions that close attainment gaps and stretch high-achievers, working across KS3–KS5. Expect to work with motivated students who want to succeed—and a team that will invest in your development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-impact 1:1 and small group Chemistry interventions
- Support GCSE & A-Level students aiming for top grades (7–9 / A–A*)
- Assist in practical lessons within state-of-the-art lab facilities
- Translate complex scientific concepts into clear, engaging explanations
- Track progress and contribute to a data-driven approach to attainment
What We’re Looking For:
- A high 2:1 or First-Class degree in Chemistry or related field
- Strong academic background with a genuine passion for education
- Confident communicator with the ability to inspire and challenge
- Ambition to pursue teaching or a long-term career in education
- Prior tutoring or mentoring experience (advantageous, not essential)
