What you will do:
- Oversee and lead child protection conferences, ensuring each child’s best interests are at the forefront of decision-making.
- Advise and support professionals in safeguarding and child protection practices.
- Serve as the Local Authority Designated Officer (LADO), managing allegations against those in positions of trust working with children, ensuring safe and effective measures are in place.
- Collaborate with multi-agency teams to develop robust child protection plans and strategies.
- Continuously monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of child protection policies and procedures to ensure the highest standards of safety and compliance.
