Step into an exhilarating role as a Deputy Team Manager at the Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub MASH in Ealing. With a salary of £41.10 per hour, you’ll have a chance to make a real difference over the next three months on a full-time basis. In this role, you will be a pivotal part of managing and shaping Ealing’s response to the Family’s First Partnership changes by working within a team that is currently screening and completing brief assessments with families. Located at 14-16 Uxbridge Rd, this hybrid position offers a balance of two days in the office and the rest from the comfort of your home.

What you will do

• Lead and supervise a dedicated team of social workers along with differently qualified staff, ensuring seamless collaboration and superior service delivery within the MASH.
• Conduct and oversee comprehensive risk assessments to identify the appropriate level of intervention required, maintaining a strong grasp of thresholds.
• Foster relationships with multi-agency partners to deliver an integrated approach to safeguarding, maintaining Ealing’s high standards.
• Manage and prioritise workloads in a fast-paced setting, ensuring timely responses to safeguard children and families effectively.

Essential requirements

• Proven Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) experience, demonstrating an understanding of its operations and intricacies.
• Ability to work at pace with a strong understanding of thresholds and decision making in safeguarding contexts.
• Experience in supervising social workers and a diverse team of differently qualified staff, fostering development and ensuring high-quality service delivery.
