Electrical Works Controller in Cumbria, Cumbria

Our Client has a requirement for an Electrical Works Controller, who will be required to work on a contract basis in Cumbria.

Role Purpose:

• Coordinate and oversee electrical construction activities within a highly regulated environment.
• Ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently, and in accordance with site procedures.
• Support the successful delivery of engineering and construction projects.
• Promote a strong safety culture and compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

Job Role Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate complex construction and engineering activities.
• Ensure all work is carried out in line with site procedures, safety requirements, and project objectives.
• Liaise with operational teams and contractors to facilitate safe execution of works.
• Support planning, coordination, and delivery of project activities.
• Maintain high standards of quality, safety, and compliance throughout all works.

Experience / Skills / Knowledge / Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years' experience within a highly regulated industry environment.
• Demonstrable technical knowledge within a relevant construction or engineering discipline.
• Proven experience delivering, supervising, and coordinating complex construction activities.
• Strong understanding of safety culture, regulatory compliance, and CDM requirements.
• Previous experience within nuclear, defence, or other high-hazard industries.
• Security clearance preferred.
• P4 / P1 holder preferred.
• Access to relevant site systems, procedures, and working practices advantageous.
• Immediate availability desirable.
• Local to site desirable.
