Graduate Learning Mentor

ASAP Start | Full-time | £500 - £600 per week | Putney, London

KPI Education are working with a high-performing school in Putney to recruit an ambitious and enthusiastic Graduate Learning Mentor for an ASAP start.

This is an excellent opportunity for a graduate looking to gain hands-on experience supporting students academically, socially and personally, while developing valuable skills for a long-term career in education.

The Role

As a Graduate Learning Mentor, you will:

• Provide 1-to-1 and small-group mentoring and learning support.

• Support students with their academic progress, confidence and engagement.

• Build positive relationships with students and act as a strong role model.

• Help students develop effective study habits, organisation and independent learning skills.

• Support students with additional academic, pastoral or behavioural needs.

• Work closely with teachers, pastoral staff and other education professionals.

• Encourage students to develop confidence, communication skills and resilience.

• Assist with classroom activities and contribute to a positive learning environment.

• Monitor student progress and provide appropriate feedback to staff.

About You

The successful Graduate Learning Mentor will have:

• A First Class or 2:1 degree.

• A strong academic background and commitment to professional development.

• A genuine interest in supporting young people and pursuing a career in education.

• A positive, enthusiastic and approachable personality.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Confidence working with children and young people.

• The ability to build positive relationships and act as a strong role model.

• A patient, empathetic and supportive approach.

• Previous experience in tutoring, mentoring, youth work, coaching or volunteering is advantageous but not essential.
