Graduate Teaching Assistant – The Role

As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and students to support learning, raise attainment, and help create a positive educational experience for every pupil.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting pupils individually and in small groups
• Assisting teachers during lessons
• Supporting students with SEND and additional learning needs
• Encouraging participation and positive behaviour
• Helping students develop confidence and resilience
• Preparing learning materials and classroom resources
• Contributing to school life and enrichment activities

Candidate Requirements

• Degree from a recognised university
• Genuine interest in education and teaching
• Strong communication skills
• Positive and professional attitude
• Previous experience working with young people welcomed
• Able to commute to Bexley daily
