Graduate Teaching Assistant

ASAP Start | Full-time | £500 - £600 per week | Westminster, London

KPI Education are working with a high-performing school in Westminster to recruit an enthusiastic Graduate Teaching Assistant for an ASAP start.

This is an excellent opportunity for graduates to gain practical school experience, develop their skills and build a strong foundation for a career in teaching and education.

The Role

As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Support teachers with lesson delivery and classroom activities.

• Provide 1-to-1 and small-group support to students.

• Help students with their learning, progress and development.

• Assist with preparing classroom resources and learning materials.

• Encourage positive engagement and good learning habits.

• Support pupils who require additional help.

• Help maintain a positive, inclusive and well-managed classroom.

• Build positive relationships with students and act as a strong role model.

• Assist with classroom organisation and wider school activities.

• Work closely with teachers and other education professionals.

About You

The successful Graduate Teaching Assistant will have:

• A First Class or 2:1 degree.

• A strong academic background and genuine interest in education.

• Enthusiasm for working with children and young people.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• A positive, patient and proactive approach.

• The ability to build strong relationships with students.

• Confidence working independently and as part of a team.

• A willingness to learn and develop professionally.

• Previous experience in tutoring, mentoring, coaching, youth work or volunteering is advantageous but not essential.
