What you will do
- Maintenance & Repairs: Service, inspect, diagnose, and repair gas, oil, and renewable heating systems.
- Planned Maintenance: Carry out preventative maintenance on boilers, heating systems, and associated plant equipment.
- Reactive Work: Respond to breakdowns and emergency callouts to ensure systems remain safe and operational.
- Installation & Commissioning: Install, replace, and commission heating systems, ensuring compliance and efficiency.
- Energy Efficiency: Support upgrades and improvement projects to enhance energy performance across properties.
- Compliance: Ensure all work complies with legislation, regulations, and industry standards, completing certifications where required.
- Technical Support: Provide expert advice on heating systems and assist with wider building maintenance tasks.
- Customer Focus: Build positive working relationships with colleagues and service users, delivering a responsive service.
Qualifications / Requirements
- Relevant qualifications in heating engineering (e.g. Gas Safe registration).
- Proven experience working with gas, oil, and/or renewable heating systems.
- Strong diagnostic, repair, and installation skills.
- Knowledge of health & safety regulations and compliance standards.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
