My client is looking for a Logistics & Installation Technician based in Dartford, Kent.
Are you the sort of person who:
- Can make a flat-pack wardrobe look like it belongs in a showroom?
- Knows your way around a toolbox?
- Takes pride in keeping vehicles, equipment and workspaces in good order?
- Can organise a warehouse so everything is exactly where it should be?
- Enjoys being out and about rather than spending all day behind a desk?
Then you might just be the person we're looking for!
WHAT'S THE JOB?
It's certainly not a case of sitting behind a desk waiting for Friday!
You'll be involved in a bit of everything:
🚚 Deliveries and collections
📦 Warehouse organisation and stock handling
🔧 Furniture assembly and installation
🏢 Office moves and workstation reconfigurations
🏗️ Supporting construction and fit-out projects
🧹 Preparing sites, distributing materials and clearing completed work areas
In short, you'll help keep things moving, make things happen and occasionally discover that the missing piece was actually in the box all along!
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
✔️ A full, valid UK driving licence.
✔️ Previous experience in logistics, deliveries, furniture installation, removals or a similar practical role.
✔️ Someone organised, dependable and proactive.
✔️ Confident using tools and equipment.
✔️ Happy working independently and as part of a team.
✔️ Flexible and willing to travel to different sites.
ADDITIONAL EXPERIENCE THAT WOULD BE AN ADVANTAGE:
- Commercial installation or office fit-out experience.
- Tipper or commercial vehicle experience.
- A forklift licence.
- A CSCS card.
A varied day doesn't faze you, and taking on different practical tasks is more your style than sitting on the sidelines!
WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU?
💷 £25,000–£30,000 per annum + benefits, depending on experience.
📅 Permanent, full-time position.
⏰ Monday to Friday, 8am–5pm.
💰 Paid overtime opportunities, including occasional evenings and weekends.
