Job Role of the Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established and growing manufacturing business in Bandon. As a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out planned preventative maintenance, reactive maintenance, and fault-finding across a range of manufacturing equipment. You will play a key role in ensuring machinery is running efficiently, minimising downtime, and supporting continuous improvement across the site.

Non-Negotiable Requirements of the Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

• Previous maintenance experience within an industrial or manufacturing environment.

• Experience carrying out planned preventative, reactive, and breakdown maintenance.

• Must hold a minimum NFQ Level 5 or Level 6 qualification in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.

• Electrical or mechanical bias.

Requirements for the Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

• Strong electrical and/or mechanical fault-finding skills.

• Experience working within a fast-paced manufacturing or industrial environment.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a maintenance team.

• Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to maintenance.
