What you will do
- Manual Handling Expertise: Prescribe and demonstrate complex moving and handling equipment, including hoists, sliding sheets, and slings.
- Promoting Independence: Support smarter care approaches to enable residents to achieve optimal independence.
- Specialist Seating: Apply knowledge of specialist seating and ensure appropriate adjustments are made.
- Adaptations: Prescribe and develop specifications for specialist home adaptations.
- Service Delivery: Support the Occupational Therapy team in delivering efficient, value-driven care aligned with service goals.
Qualifications / Requirements
- HCPC registered Occupational Therapist.
- Proven experience in manual handling, equipment provision, and housing adaptations.
- Strong assessment and practical skills in complex care environments.
- Full UK driving licence.
