What you will do:

  • Provide expert occupational therapy services to children with social, emotional, and mental health challenges.
  • Engage with neurodivergent individuals or those with learning difficulties to offer supportive and tailored interventions.
  • Collaborate with multi-professional teams to ensure cohesive and coordinated service delivery.
  • Utilise sound knowledge of occupational therapy theory and sensory-informed practices to promote children's independence.
  • Offer training and support within school environments, displaying flexibility and confidence in varied settings.
  • Conduct clear and concise report writing to document therapeutic progress and recommendations.

Qualifications / Requirements:

  • Degree in Occupational Therapy.
  • Valid HCPC registration.
  • Membership with the Royal College of Occupational Therapists (RCOT).
  • Experience working with children with SEMH challenges is preferred.
  • Sound knowledge of occupational therapy theory and sensory-informed practice.
  • Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
  • Valid UK driving licence, as travel within the region may be required.
