What you will do:

• Monitor and oversee the day-to-day operations of the Repairs and Maintenance Team, ensuring high-quality service delivery.
• Supervise gas works in compliance with The Gas Safety (Installation and Use) Regulations 1998, bolstering the council’s commitment to safety and compliance.
• Coordinate with contractors to manage and execute repairs, ensuring cost-effectiveness and efficiency.
• Perform site visits to assess repair needs and evaluate the quality of completed work.
• Prepare reports and recommendations to inform strategic improvements within the repairs function.
