As a pivotal part of our Duty Service Team, you'll work closely alongside five established Duty Teams to deliver top-tier social services, conducting initial Children and Family assessments with precision and speed. Here, no two days are the same; you'll be at the forefront of managing complex cases and ensuring exceptional safeguarding standards are met and maintained.

What you will do:

- Lead and inspire a team of social workers to manage an array of complex and high-risk cases effectively
- Collaborate with the Duty and Assessment Service to improve and maintain service delivery quality
- Drive forward excellent practice within your team, ensuring legislative frameworks and safeguarding standards are adhered to
- Engage actively with children, young people, and families to promote positive outcomes and independence
- Be responsible for transferring cases at pivotal points to ensure seamless service delivery
- Work innovatively with your team to find creative solutions for families in need
