What you will do:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of service users' needs and work collaboratively with them to design effective care plans.
• Provide direct support and intervention for vulnerable children and their families to promote positive outcomes and ensure child protection.
• Prepare detailed written reports and maintain up-to-date departmental records to ensure accurate information sharing.
• Lead and participate in multi-agency meetings to review and implement child assessment and plans.
• Manage financial responsibilities, including overseeing care packages to ensure budget compliance.
• Act as a line manager for members of the team, supporting professional development and managing performance.
• Contribute to the development and improvement of social work services, promoting public understanding of their importance.
