What you will do

• Undertake comprehensive assessments to identify the needs, strengths, and risks affecting children and families.
• Develop, implement, and review intervention plans that promote safety, stability, and positive outcomes.
• Undertake Section 47 enquiries and complete detailed risk assessments.
• Manage cases involving Child Protection Plans and Public Law Outline processes.
• Build positive and trusting relationships with children and families to support meaningful and sustainable change.
• Work closely with schools, health professionals, police, and partner agencies to deliver coordinated support.
• Prepare high-quality assessments, reports, and court documentation.
• Attend and contribute to child protection conferences, reviews, strategy meetings, and court proceedings.
• Ensure the child's voice, wishes, and feelings remain central to all assessments, planning, and decision-making.
• Maintain accurate and timely case records in line with statutory and organisational requirements.
• Work within relevant legislation, guidance, and professional standards to safeguard children and promote their wellbeing.
