What you will do

• Team Leadership: Manage the daily operations of a team of social workers, ensuring practice meets statutory requirements.
• Case Oversight: Oversee complex casework, maintaining a strong focus on children’s safety, welfare, and outcomes.
• Supervision: Provide regular supervision to staff, monitoring care plans and practice quality and addressing issues proactively.
• Meetings & Reviews: Lead and attend key case meetings, reviews, and planning forums in the best interests of children.
• Partnership Working: Build effective relationships with Children’s Services, council departments, partner agencies, and third‑sector organisations.
• Strategic Input: Provide guidance and advice to senior managers on service development, policy implementation, and future direction.
