What you will do:

Support fire safety remediation projects across the Council’s property portfolio.
Ensure compliance with current fire safety legislation, regulations, and standards.
Address and manage actions arising from fire risk assessments.
Assist with benchmarking and monitoring fire safety standards across properties.
Contribute to the development and implementation of fire safety compliance frameworks.
Liaise effectively with contractors, colleagues, and stakeholders to promote a culture of safety and compliance.
Maintain accurate records and reporting related to fire safety activities and compliance measures.

Requirements:

Experience in fire safety compliance, property compliance, or a related technical role.
Strong understanding of fire safety legislation and risk assessment processes.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
Ability to work collaboratively while managing responsibilities independently.
