Working Supervisor 1 1st 39 in Leiston, East Of England

VGC Group are currently recruiting for a Concrete Finisher Chargehand to join our team on a major project in Leiston, Suffolk.

We are looking for an experienced and reliable Concrete Finisher Chargehand to be responsible for a small group of operatives (often 2-5).


Basic pay rate: £27.81 per hour PAYE (enhanced rates available after 39 hours)
Shift- 12 days on, 2 days off. 12 hour days
Start Date: ASAP, subject to gaining vetting

Lodge pay is available for the successful candidate, if they meet the criteria.

The successful candidate will have:
-Gold CSCS in Concrete Finishing
-HSE CITB Test - Sups
-SSSTS or SMSTS
-Emergency First Aid at Work
-Full UK driving licence

The successful Concrete Finisher Chargehand will support the delivery of basic site tasks such as:
-Excavation
-Drainage
-Concreting
-Fencing
-General groundworks

While this is an entry-level supervisory position, it still requires a good understanding of site safety, method statements, and task coordination.
