Accounts Assistant – Purchase LedgerPermanent | Full-Time | SandbachReady to take the next step in your finance career?We’re currently recruiting for an Accounts Assistant – Purchase Ledger to join our client’s finance team in Sandbach. This is a great opportunity for an organised, detail-oriented individual with strong IT skills and previous SAP experience to play a key role in the day-to-day running of the finance function.You’ll be responsible for ensuring supplier invoices are processed accurately, payments are made on time, and supplier accounts are maintained efficiently, while working closely with internal teams and external suppliers.What will you be doing? Processing and checking supplier invoices, ensuring accuracy and correct authorisationMatching invoices against relevant documentation and resolving any discrepanciesLiaising with internal departments to obtain invoice approvals and resolve queriesActing as a key point of contact for suppliers regarding payment queries and account issuesCompleting supplier statement reconciliations and investigating any differencesSupporting the preparation and processing of supplier paymentsManaging urgent payment requests when requiredMaintaining accurate, up-to-date financial records and supporting the wider finance team with general administrative duties What are we looking for? Previous SAP experience is essentialPrevious experience in a purchase ledger or accounts payableExcellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracyGood numeracy skills and confidence working with financial informationStrong IT skills and the ability to adapt to new systemsExcellent organisational and communication skillsA proactive approach, with the ability to manage workloads and meet deadlines Interested?
