This will allow testing to proceed at pace without the necessary live data.Key ResponsibilitiesTest Data Design & Creation• Design and generate synthetic and anonymised datasets that:o Are fully GDPR and PII complianto Reflect production-like structures, distributions, and edge caseso Are suitable for functional, integration, and end-to-end testing• Create data at sufficient volume and complexity to meet Salesforce, Flui, and UMAX ingestion profilesTimely Data Provisioning• Provision test data to agreed schedules to support SIT, UAT, NFT, and cutover rehearsals.• Rapidly regenerate or adapt datasets in response to:o Schema or interface changeso Defect resolutiono Iterative test cycle requirementsCross-System Data Linking & Integrity• Define and maintain consistent synthetic identifiers and keys that:o Enable records to remain linkable across Salesforce, UMAX, and Flui platformso Preserve referential integrity and unified record views• Ensure relationships (e.g. customer, supply point, meter, contract, market flow) are coherent and test-valid across all systemsFormat & Ingestion Readiness• Deliver datasets in the required formats and structures for each target platform (e.g. APIs, files, staging tables)• Validate data against ingestion rules, mandatory fields, and system constraints prior to releaseRequired Skills & ExperienceEssential• Proven experience delivering synthetic and anonymised test data for complex enterprise platforms• Strong understanding of GDPR and PII constraints in test environments• Hands-on experience with Salesforce data models and ingestion patterns• Solid grasp of relational data modelling and referential integrity• Ability to generate realistic, high-volume datasets under time pressure• Strong communication and delivery focusDesirable• Experience in energy or utilities domains (gas, power, metering, market flows)• Familiarity with UMAX and/or Flui Marketflow / Meterflow• Experience supporting SIT, UAT, and non-functional testing• Practical experience using scripting or tooling for automated data generation (e.g. SQL, Python)Role Boundaries• This role owns test data generation and provisioning• It does not own migration logic, ETL development, or migration assurance• It enables testing by ensuring data readiness, not by validating migration outcomesTest Data Specialist
