What you will do
- Cover duty work within the team to ensure smooth daily operations and ongoing support.
- Carry out comprehensive Care Act assessments and reviews.
- Complete Mental Capacity Act assessments and Best Interests decisions.
- Manage safeguarding enquiries to protect vulnerable adults.
- Undertake Court of Protection and Section 21A work in line with legal requirements.
- Work in accordance with Tameside MBC policies and procedures, maintaining high standards of professional practice.
Requirements
- A relevant Social Work qualification is essential, alongside experience in Adult Social Care including Care Act work, safeguarding, MCA, and Court of Protection responsibilities.
- A minimum of three years’ reference history is required, with employment gaps subject to review.
