What you will do:

  • Act as the Designated Safeguarding Lead, managing the Family and School Together (FAST) provision and liaising with families and partners.
  • Manage a complex caseload of families and pupils requiring intensive support.
  • Coordinate and deliver multi-agency assessments and care planning for pupils with specific plans and needs.
  • Lead on procedures for behavioural management, ensuring policies are implemented effectively in collaboration with staff.
  • Oversee pupil attendance by working with families and external agencies to address any attendance barriers.
  • Promote inclusive practices within the school, supporting staff and pupils to better understand neurodiversity and related needs.
  • Ensure quality assurance across attendance, behaviour, and safeguarding processes.
  • Develop partnerships with parents, carers, local authorities, and external agencies to reinforce support networks for children.
  • Facilitate staff training and development focused on behaviour management, inclusion, and safeguarding.
