What you will do

• Perform specialised laboratory testing and analysis in haematology and transfusion science.

• Produce accurate and timely diagnostic results to support clinical decision-making.

• Operate, maintain, and calibrate laboratory equipment in accordance with quality and safety standards.

• Work collaboratively with clinicians and laboratory colleagues to ensure effective patient care.

• Ensure compliance with laboratory policies, health and safety regulations, and quality assurance procedures.

• Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives within the laboratory service.

• Support and mentor junior biomedical scientists and laboratory staff where appropriate.
