Key Responsibilities / What You Will Do
- Provide comprehensive case management for service users within Community Mental Health.
- Complete duty tasks and IRS assessments as required.
- Administer medications including depots; apply knowledge of Clozapine and Lithium protocols.
- Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to deliver personalised care.
- Conduct therapeutic assessments and create tailored intervention plans.
- Support service users in setting and achieving meaningful recovery goals.
- Promote independence, wellbeing, and positive mental health outcomes.
Requirements / Candidate Criteria
Essential
- HCPC‑registered Occupational Therapist.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in mental health or related OT fields.
- Confident administering depots and understanding Clozapine/Lithium procedures.
- Strong assessment, care‑planning, and clinical reasoning skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Desirable
- Experience in community mental health teams.
- Driving licence for ease of travel across sites.
- Familiarity with recovery‑focused and psychosocial intervention models.
