Key Responsibilities / What You Will Do
- Deliver high‑quality occupational therapy interventions to patients and carers in the community.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments for individuals with a wide range of neurological, physical, and psychological needs.
- Use clinical reasoning to provide accurate diagnosis and develop tailored treatment plans.
- Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic, patient‑centred care.
- Maintain accurate, up‑to‑date records in line with regulatory and service standards.
- Stay current with evidence‑based practice and integrate new approaches into care delivery.
- Travel across the community to visit patients at home as required.
Requirements / Candidate Criteria
Essential
- HCPC‑registered Occupational Therapist.
- Valid driving licence for community travel.
- Experience in neuro rehabilitation, A&E, or community therapy settings.
- Strong assessment, clinical reasoning, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage a varied caseload.
Desirable
- Experience working within neuro community teams.
- Familiarity with integrated care pathways and neuro‑specialist frameworks.
