Key Responsibilities / What You Will Do

• Deliver high‑quality occupational therapy interventions to patients and carers in the community.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments for individuals with a wide range of neurological, physical, and psychological needs.
• Use clinical reasoning to provide accurate diagnosis and develop tailored treatment plans.
• Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic, patient‑centred care.
• Maintain accurate, up‑to‑date records in line with regulatory and service standards.
• Stay current with evidence‑based practice and integrate new approaches into care delivery.
• Travel across the community to visit patients at home as required.

Requirements / Candidate Criteria

Essential

• HCPC‑registered Occupational Therapist.
• Valid driving licence for community travel.
• Experience in neuro rehabilitation, A&E, or community therapy settings.
• Strong assessment, clinical reasoning, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage a varied caseload.

Desirable

• Experience working within neuro community teams.
• Familiarity with integrated care pathways and neuro‑specialist frameworks.
