We are recruiting a skilled and motivated Band 6 Physiotherapist to join the Frailty Team in Stranraer. This full-time, ongoing locum role offers an excellent opportunity to work within a fast-paced Front Door Frailty service, supporting patients at an early point of contact and within the community.

You will play a key role in delivering high-quality physiotherapy interventions, supporting safe decision-making, effective discharge planning, and improved patient outcomes. This role is ideal for a physiotherapist who thrives in collaborative, multidisciplinary environments and enjoys working across acute and community settings.

Key responsibilities

Deliver high-quality physiotherapy assessments and interventions for patients supported by the Frailty Team.
Support front door services through timely assessments, clinical decision-making, and early intervention.
Work within the community setting to provide patient-centred care and rehabilitation plans.
Contribute to discharge planning and case management to promote safe and effective patient flow.
Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, including nursing, medical, and allied health professionals.
Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in line with HCPC and service standards.

Requirements

HCPC registration as a Physiotherapist.
Experience working at Band 6 level or equivalent.
Ability to work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Full UK driving licence is essential.
Strong communication, organisational, and clinical reasoning skills.
