About the role
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Band 8 Clinical Psychologist to join the Reparative Care Team in Guernsey. This is a permanent, full-time opportunity to deliver specialist psychological care to children and young people who are looked after, adopted, or living in foster or residential settings, as well as providing support to their carers and families.
You will work within an innovative, trauma-informed service that prioritises attachment-focused, evidence-based practice and multidisciplinary collaboration. What you will do

Deliver specialist psychological assessments and formulations for children and young people with complex developmental trauma and attachment needs.

Use a range of assessment methods, including psychometric testing, structured interviews, and observational approaches.

Design and deliver evidence-based psychological interventions, informed by trauma-informed, attachment-based, and neurodevelopmental frameworks.

Provide consultation, advice, and reflective support to social workers, carers, and therapeutic practitioners.

Contribute to multidisciplinary care planning, professional decision-making, and service development.

Undertake risk assessments and manage risk effectively in complex and sensitive cases.

Maintain high standards of clinical documentation, in line with professional, ethical, and organisational requirements.
